What is Truckload?
Truckload Capacity (or Full Truckload/FTL) shipping refers to the use of an entire truck for a shipment going from point A to point B. It differs from LTL (Less than Truckload), as LTL shipments make multiple stops along a route. Truckload Capacity is the quickest method for delivering freight (typically large loads weighing more than 15,000 pounds) since it only has one load to consider and can travel up to 500 miles per day.
